Of course the guild is Horde...
Fox Van Allen Jun 8th 2010 11:27AM
There is no in-game mechanic that prevents Alliance characters from taking screen shots.
Zanaji Jun 8th 2010 11:29AM
And this is news? has been around for a while. They have an Ally guild too, but it's on one of the down servers. The whining about it being horde is reeeeeely old.

Ooh sounds fun! Interesting people to have fun with in game, and loot prizes to boot!
WHAT!! They are Horde. I'M OUT!

@ Fox Van Allen
I couldn't care less about the contest, I just wish that I didn't have to play a terrible race if I choose to participate in a ICFTB event.

It's May 28th, 2007. WoW Insider blogger, Amanda Rivera, walks home, getting ready to post about the new guild: <It Came From The Blog>
Suddenly, there's a flash of light and a gust of wind. Amanda looks up to see a flying DeLorean. Inside is Fox Van Allen who, having finally perfected the flux capacitor, has gone back in time to deliver an important message. "Amanda!" he screams.
She replies, "Who the hell are you and why aren't you wearing a shirt?"
"That's not important! I've come to deliver a grave message," Fox says, um...gravely. "Three years from now, a whiny little girl named Banic Rhys is going to complain about our guild in a comment section!"
"Oh my God!" Amanda gasps, realizing the severity of the situation, "Well, what can I do to stop this from happening? Please, tell me shirtless wonder!"
"Well, he's upset that it's a Horde guild, so you have to make it on the Alliance side!"
Amanda thinks for about 2 seconds before realizing something really, really obvious. "Wait...but then won't other people complain about it being an Alliance guild? I mean, isn't there no way to please all the people all the time? Besides, it's just a fun little social guild, so it doesn't really matter what faction it's on. By the way...why is someone still complaining about this 3 years from now? That seems downright idiotic."
As Amanda talks, Fox realizes that she's right. He thinks back on all the time he spent developing time travel, wishing he had used it for some greater purpose instead. He bids Amanda adieu, puts on a pair of sunglasses and sets the dial to April 26, 1977.
...to be continued.

As of 15 seconds ago, I've officially joined the comment system haters. I've tried posting a response to this like 4 times now, and none of them have showed up. (I just know they're all gonna show up at some point leaving a giant wall of text from me or something...)
Fix this Blizz...er...wow.com. :D

cutaia, it was waiting for my approval. Something must have tripped a filter.

@ banic rhys
Just roll a troll...don't worry, I get the feeling it'll come naturally to you.
(cutaia) Jun 8th 2010 2:23PM
That was fast, Robin. Thanks. ;)
I must have hit the filter for maximum amount of ellipses allowed in one post...

If the coin flip had come up alliance for ICFB then the other half of the readers would complain. Until they create the Alliorde Faction then you just have to suck it up, or don't participate.
Tldr: don't bring us down with funsucking.

You ever notice that no horde ever QQs on the For Gnomeregan posts about them being alliance?
sentrosii Jun 8th 2010 12:50PM
Every time I ask a member of the guild for an invite, they tell me they don't have invite powers and no officers are on..
(cutaia) Jun 8th 2010 1:53PM
They might not realize they have the power to invite. Most of the ranks do...not just officers. Usually when I'm on, I see a lot of Blog Lurkers, who should all be able to invite.
If that fails, try signing on during one of the bloggers scheduled play times. They can definitely help.
Joseph Smith Jun 8th 2010 4:47PM
So what you're saying is ii have the power...to invite you?
(cutaia) Jun 8th 2010 5:08PM
Allow me to clarify that "Blog Lurkers" is the name of one of the guild ranks.
Unless, of course, you were simply paraphrasing Tenacious D...in which case I shall counter with MIND BULLETS!
