I must confess that I was a sad panda when Blizzard said they were giving Mages Bloodlust/Heroism.

That being said, I scanned the new Enhancement tree, the first thought that ran through my mind was "TOTALLY WORTH IT!'. SS and LL look like much, much harder hitting abilities now, which is always nice. I'm guessing they want us to use Searing for single target and Magma for AOE, which is a welcome change if they intend to keep Searing at 45s duration. More spare GCDs for all!

yeah, here's to no longer being needed in raids but actually being *wanted*... not seeing it yet, but it will be basically impossible to tell until we get our hands on the final specs and try them out.
