You can probably ignore most of VuhDo except for the spells screen at the start. Once you feel comfortable with it, start modifying the look and have a look at the other options. As VuhDo is for all types of character, there will be options that are fairly irrelevant for a healer, helpful ones are range checking and cluster checking (checks if there are a bunch of players stood near each other that will benefit from a group heal like Wild Growth or Chain Heal). Cluster checking is mostly unnecessary unless you're in raid groups though (raid dungeons or PvP).Things that are useful for all characters include threat bars, showing who has aggro and separating pets into their own frame.
