Dominic Hobbs is heading off to focus on other things. All the staff wishes him the best of luck!
We're also going to open up another position on staff. So to that end, WoW.com has the following openings for qualified individuals to join our team:
- warlock columnist
- elemental shaman columnist
If you are a 'lock or elemental shaman and are interested in writing a weekly column for our site (and being paid for it), please head over to the
Contributing to WoW.com page and read up about our operation. On that page, you'll also find detailed instructions on how to submit an application to us. Be sure to follow the instructions in the
Columnist Application section exactly. If you cannot follow these directions, you can't write for WoW.com.
Applications are due at 11:59 p.m. PST on Monday, June 21, 2010.

Well belt's kind of a one trick pony, with that trick being warlock hate, fortunately that trick fits perfectly into the track in your average mages one track mind. So he's got a job for life here. :-)

Damn it Belt, you scared off all of our coloumists. Hobbs wasn't a good guy. He didn't hate Mages, he just knew it was expected of him; and you bullied him when you had know right to. He could have fel flamed you into the pile of worthles sludge you are, but he was to kind for that. How long will you mage bastards oppress us demon herders?

I may not be a contributor, but as a warlock I willing profess my disdain for mages. Can you believe the nerve they have? Using a glyph to try to be as awesome as I am.

I totally missed his AB column. I just went to read it and by the time I was done I thought, "This guy is the ideal warlock... that was just EVIL. Awesome!" My friend just reactivated a week ago, I sent him a text saying OMG mages are going bye-bye just to get my own version of the shock and QQ. It's the only way I could feel a part of something so funny that I initially missed.
Now I can say, it's sad to see you go but after you get done with whatever your focus is, drop in now and then.

Why is that when I roll a lock, the WoW lock guy leaves... No wonder I couldnt find "fresh 80 lock guide" like every other class had out in these past few weeks.

Get the caster trinket from Reg-ToC, Nevermelting Ice Crystal from H-PoS, oodles of emblems for tier 9 gear, and spec destruction because nothing is going to survive long enough while you're grinding heroics to do any damage as affliction. Or Demo, demo's fun too.

As a Warlock and a Mage I am really sorry to see Mr. Hobbs go. I loved reading his work. My favorite is by far his Arcane Brilliance post that got the attention of so many. Great stuff.

Hmm, I do play an elemental shaman, but sadly, he's my alt. It might be a good idea to at least apply though.
