Around Azeroth: Baby love child
Australians Jujitoufu and Jilok of Barthilas (US-H) were palling around in Agmar's Hammer when Jilok discovered a nest of infant Taunka. Jilok had been looking to adopt, and eventually left the quest hub with both a selection of fine items and an infant daughter. (This is where I would make a 'dingo ate your baby' joke, except the facts of that case are quite sad and I do not want to be attacked by swarms of angry Aussies. So fill in your own joke here.)
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as emailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use Alt Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here.

Rediscovered those recently as I'm currently have my HS set in Agmar's Hammer, trying to track down the Crazed Indu'le Survivor, last on the list, and I find it very... great that Blizzard does not forget about those parts of the conflicts, that it's not just soldiers fighting against monsters and each other. The Children's Week quests are obvious of course, but these little nods are also very nice. And, of course, they are absolutely adorable, except for that apparent squint, though I think that's just a texture bug because of the model's curves.

When I was questing through Dragonblight on my priest I talked to that warhungry SOB Agmar, and then decided to explore what was in the tower behind him ... turned out it was tiny orphan taunka babies. Awwww. Underneath the evil, spike-encrusted exterior Agmar is a big softie really.
Sedna Jun 15th 2010 10:11AM
Really?! D'awwwwwwww. Suddenly I find myself liking that old SOB. He and his wolves probably sing them to sleep with old orcish drinking songs.

Don't be blind. The truth shall set you free!
Agmar keeps them around for a midnight snack.

Those baby models look so creepy. Like decapitated heads in baskets...

I've been staring at this for 30 minutes, what the hell am I looking at?

The caption should be:
"Are you sure it's mine?"
Darthregis Jun 15th 2010 10:25AM
Why is that troll sleeping next to a beef burrito?
Tirrimas Jun 15th 2010 11:17AM
I'm a Hordie, and love Tauren.
I found this HILARIOUS.

That model reminds me of the Beatrix Potter story where the kitten gets rolled up in dough by mice with only his head showing.
...

Epic cartoon

Joke made by omission. Nicely done. ;)
Jay Jun 15th 2010 11:14AM
Not really.
Lindy's life was ruined by the media.
Sort of like if an Aussie made a joke about a coloured person eating fried chicken, but that would be racist so i won't make it.

Hmm...
I hadn't even clicked on the link. All I mean is that I wouldn't have even thought of a "Dingo ate my Baby" joke if she hadn't told us she wasn't going to make one.
It was an interesting moment of reverse psychology.
SamLowry Jun 15th 2010 3:05PM
So no comments about "troll = dingo"?
I guess weed-induced munchies leaves some folks hungering for more substantial snacks.

As long as she's brought up in this Thomas Kinkade Tauren village, she'll lead a very pleasant, albeit uninteresting life, devoid of originality or real emotion. Better than being eaten, however. Mostly.
