That's not insane... that's just you being a druid. Druids are seriously 4 classes in one. I recently hit 80 on my druid (less than 2 days ago wewt!). My primary spec is balance, and I was trying to figure out whether i wanted to go feral dps or resto for my offspec (have a tank already on another character and don't feel the need to have another one). I decided I'm going to build and spec for feral, and then after that maintain a resto spec, and just respec my 2nd spec from feral to resto and back based on whatever is needed.

I think what's really insane is that I don't have a guild bank for my druid, because I'm gonna need the space for all that gear lol.
