WoW Moviewatch: WoW!

Some movies are created due to a deep-seated psychological compulsion to create. They are driven to higher forms of art by an ongoing desire to improve their craft. Other movies are created because the author loves World of Warcraft. The game and community has been good to the creator, and he wants to give a little something back. Some folks just love the game so much they simply must rap about it. I think WoW! falls into the last category.
WoW! is obviously a labor of love for the creator. The performers and creators all evidentaly have a lot of fun making this movie and are open to being a little goofy. I'm not sure they're trying to set the rap world on fire as much as they're just out to have a good time. My hat's off to them. Even though I don't necessarily dig the music, I had a great time watching WoW!
Also, the idea of calling a friend and screaming "oh my god, dude, there's totally a velociraptor in here" could be pretty keen. I might try that tonight.

That song and video was hilarious. Except for all the 'For the Horde' crap. F' the Horde. Alliance FTW! But other than that, Awesome.

I think they are referring to the velociraptor checklist joke page a few years back. I can't seem to find it now... but it was about a guy who had seen jurrasic park and got paranoid, so he made a home depot shopping list to combat raptors. It was a good laugh.

Wow, I'm suprised you this is on wow.com. Didn't love the music but actually listening to lyrics, with the video that was "interesting" plus the possible orc r34 @2:34 it all made me laugh enough to not hate it.

Mc. Grizzle and Taintsmasher are hilarious in their work, that's for sure. I've met these gentlemen and recently saw the band they're in (BBG) perform. They're local where I'm at and this group is definately one to keep an keen eye out for.

it seems pretty obvious to me that these two have more genuine musical ability than just about anybody else who produces these wow music videos. that was pretty killer

These two people should just kill themselves. What a waste of time for them to make and for me to unfortunately watch. This crap contributes to the downfall of western civilization. Let the down rating begin.

I like how douchebags like you add things like "let the downrating begin" to make yourselves feel somehow correct and justified in your statements. I'll admit, the video was a bit juvenile for my tastes, but I still thought parts of it were funny and clever. Unfortunately, you seem to be fighting juvenile humor with equally juvenile trolling. Let me know how that works out for you.

I like this idea. I'm going to run with it and become the anti-troll, popping into random threads and making overblown statements - but in a good way. Example:

I commend the work these guys put into this but I have a hard enough time listening to most rap. I couldn't make it through. I'm not saying anything against them it is just a taste thing. I know there are plenty out there that will love it.

Vulgar for no reason. Vulgar is funny when you're 12. They seem talented enough they could actually writes some intelligent witty stuff instead (and still talks about wow) but oh well...teenage boys will love it. /sigh

My thoughts exactly. I would have expected some of that stuff if they were teenagers, but these guys looked well into their mid to late 20s or early 30s - it just kind of dumbs everything down, funny as a lot of it was.
