Breakfast Topic: We need more WoW lolcats

Which makes it odd, to me, that we haven't seen more WoW lolcats. Sure. There's "Leeroy Cat." There's that awfully cute baby screaming "For the Horde!" He comes in both flesh color and in orc green color. (I've always kind of hoped his parents are okay with him being the iconic Hordebaby, because I think he's never going to live that down.) And I recall the one cat who talks about being in my account, sharding my purples. But that's about it for the iconic, WoW related lolcats.
And that can't be right. I'm clearly wrong here. You folks know some good WoWcats, right? And, if there is, in fact, some black hole out there, sucking our WoWcats into its vortex with the life-sucking void of a goateed hipster on an emo bender, then we're going to do something about it. Right? Right? Because, it just doesn't seem right to me.
Show me your WoWcats! We needs them, my precious!

I kinda agree.
Memes aren't funny the moment they become popular. Or need I remind you of the "first" meme that plagues this site, and every other blog out there.
Gwad, not like the lolcats meme isn't based purely on bad-spelling and bad-grammar, which is kinda ear wrenching in the first place. Don't know why people think they are funny.
No you can not /has/ a cheeseburger. /sigh

This. If there's something worse than lolcats, it's WoW related lolcats.

Cat-aclsym is the perfect opportunity for this

I agree. They make me want to stab my eyes out with forks. I prefer grammatically correct dog photos!

The term meme, to me, is the antropological idealization of a retarded internet joke. A term probably crafted by some douche bag blogger trying to make hes douche bag talk in to something clever, or smart, or something else, which only accomplished making him an even bigger douche bag.
So now taking a picture and adding out of context sentences on top of it is no longer a stupid waste of time for people that got nothing better to do... now its a meme. God forbid people go on doing pointless things without giving them a propper anthropological term.

Titusx:
The British scientist Richard Dawkins coined the word "meme" in The Selfish Gene (1976) as a concept for discussion of evolutionary principles in explaining the spread of ideas and cultural phenomena. Examples of memes given in the book included melodies, catch-phrases, beliefs (notably religious beliefs), clothing fashion, and the technology of building arches.
The term Internet meme (pronounced /ˈmiːm/, rhyming with "cream") is used to describe a concept that spreads swiftly via the Internet. The term is a reference to the concept of memes, although this concept refers to a much broader category of cultural information.

Ok... dude... thanks for making ME sound like a douche bag. Still! I got no problem with the term. The concept is perfectly valid... its the application that pisses me off. Its like taking a dump on a canvas and calling it abstract painting, doing so doesnt make you an artist.
Its douche bags (loving the term really) of the world that found this little term they could use to clasify they shenanigans with. It just gives the air of value to all the nonesense that inhabits the massive ball of missinformation, distraction and time waisting features thats the internet.
