Choose the adventures of the WoW.com staff as we level our characters in <It came from the Blog> on Zangarmarsh (US-PVE-H).
First, the remaining schedule for the week:
- Fox Van Allen as Foxlight, the blood elf paladin: Friday, 8 p.m. EDT
- Michael Sacco as Sahko, the orc warlock, Christian Belt, as Selfloathius, the blood elf warlock, Elizabeth Harper as Faience, the troll shaman, Matthew Rossi as Andrenorton, the troll mage, Michael Gray as Grayfields, the tauren hunter, Adam Holisky as Adammentat, the tauren druid, and Gregg Reece as Yakkowakko, the orc warlock, will be making appearances as they can
We have our marching orders for where we are supposed to be questing for our level ranges, but there are many things to do with our time other than questing. Tell us how we should spend our Choose My Adventure sessions next week. The poll is after the break.
Please vote for what you think would be fun to read about -- not what you would do if you were leveling.
How should the adventurers spend their time next week?| Battlegrounds | 420 (19.1%) |
|---|
| Random Dungeons | 467 (21.2%) |
|---|
| Questing | 204 (9.3%) |
|---|
| Working on World Explorer | 201 (9.1%) |
|---|
| Working on Loremaster | 193 (8.8%) |
|---|
| Working on another achievement (state which one in the comments) | 15 (0.7%) |
|---|
| Dancing nekkid on the mailbox in front of the bank in Orgrimmar for tips | 702 (31.9%) |
|---|
The poll ends on Sunday and the results will be posted on Monday, as usual.
If you want to join in on the fun of Choose My Adventure, please join us on Zangarmarsh (US-PVE-H) in <It came from the Blog>. Ask Robiness, Robinemia or any member online for an invite. Guild ranks of Lurker or above have the ability to invite. You are all welcome as long as you play by our simple rules, that can be summed up with "Don't be a Funsucker!" Also, please see the guild FAQ for the most common questions.

Work on Loremaster. This is your last chance to see the world as it is - and experience the highs and lows of old-school questing - before Azeroth changes. Plus, you'll get a twofer with World Explorer along the way!
Derrek Jun 18th 2010 9:24AM
Do Battlegrounds. Because:
A) They're more immediately rewarding than Loremaster. The honor points you earn now can be stockpiled for some really sweet epics along the way to 60, not to mention the full sets that look totally gnome-punting awesome.
B) They're an excellent way to hone your skills, especially with a class you've never played before. I'm not talking about just PvP skills, but overall mastery of your class. It's amazing what you can learn after a few hours in WSG.
C) Loremaster will take for EVER on a new toon. You're much better off doing Loremaster on your mains first, because you'll have already done a lot of the required quests on them. Unless you have unlimited time on your hands, that is.

I agree with Derrek. It would be MUCH more interesting to read about than dancing naked on a mailbox. I don't know why that was even put in there, and of course everybody is picking it. It may be funny at first, but it will get old after a few minutes. With Battlegrounds, you could have a new story after each one, and can provide hours of entertainment.

There's only one thing more mentally degrading than working on Loremaster.
Selfloathius, take up thy underwear and dance.
daan.leijen Jun 18th 2010 9:19AM
I think Selfloathius will hate mailbox dancing, it is far less lethal then doing quests that are in fact way too high lvl for your character.
Samrobb Jun 18th 2010 2:33PM
Give him an escort - a score of level 80 paladins.
Have them surround him, and lead him to the mailbox outside of the bank in Stormwind.
Then, once he's up on the mailbox and dancing... the paladins can bubble hearth, leaving him alone, unloved, and very, very squishy in the middle of enemy territory.

They should go after "Insane in the Membrane"
themann1086 Jun 18th 2010 12:18PM
Seconded. Insane in the Membrane, get on it!
Fox Van Allen Jun 18th 2010 9:37AM
Foxlight will probably be dancing nekkid on a mailbox regardless of how the poll turns out. It's just how he rolls.
Prances in Underpantss Jun 18th 2010 5:35PM
I think everyone should follow your lead, since it is going to be the highest vote anyway. Dance naked on the mailbox for a few minutes, then go with the next highest vote.
Crimson Jun 18th 2010 9:39AM
Nekkid Mailbox dancing all the way!

"Please vote for what you think would be fun to read about -- not what you would do if you were leveling."
Stories about BGs would be fun, not for honnor, but for gnome slaughter!!!
World explorer would be hell funny specially on alliance territory
Zhiva Jun 18th 2010 10:12AM
Aren't "questing" and "working on Loremaster" the same?
Arcticwolf Jun 18th 2010 10:29AM
Questing would probably be doing whatever quests they could do within their level ranges within the area they have been "assigned". Loremaster would involve doing whatever quests they could find within the area they have.... you know, I think you're right!
Robin Torres Jun 18th 2010 10:31AM
"Questing" means staying in the assigned zone and doing the quests there.
"Working on Loremaster" means going back and hitting up zones missed, questing all over the zones, doing every quest in a zone -- even the annoying ones, etc.
Clydtsdk-Rivendare Jun 18th 2010 10:41AM
Selfloathius should dance in Stormwind instead.
The rest can do something productive (relatively speaking) like Loremaster.
Baba Jun 18th 2010 11:23AM
This :D
Selfloathius (and the rest if they want to) must /dance in the following locations in Stormwind:
- Cathedral
- Auction House
- Bank
- Battleground area
- top of the Harbour walls
screenshots would be required :P

Vanquish your enemies.
Then return and regale us with your tales, as we hoist mugs in salutation of your bravery.
vanillabean Jun 18th 2010 10:54AM
I voted for random dungeons.
I like hearing about other people's experiences with players from all over. Were they jerks? Did they play their level 18 like it was 80? Or were they the rare breed of nice, patient players that exist. Somewhere. (I think)
AltairAntares Jun 18th 2010 11:03AM
This actually could be interesting- I like this one.
