Healers healing my pet is always a nice surprise, to the point that I always tend to thank said druid/priest/shammy for it (Never had a Holy Paladin heal my pet though. Wonder what that feels like).Of course, it does sometimes go the other way. Healers ignoring pets in those critical situations where the only thing stopping the group wiping completely is a little ball of fur and fury. I still have bad flashbacks to my second Utgarde Keep run, where after the first wipe at Ingvar I kept my pet in a good position to tank when inevitably the same thing happened the second time. It did - Tank and the other two DPS bite it during the last phase; so I flip Growl on and Cower off, dump a Misdirection on my pet, and try and keep Mend Pet ticking over.Did the healer (Holy Paladin, to my complete lack of surprise) do anything? Not really. Ran around like a headless chicken, attempted to tank Ingvar before realising that it would be a bad idea, then spent a fair amount of time trying to cast Redemption on the tank despite the fact that we probably all wouldn't be alive in ten seconds. It got close. Pet lived with 1% health. Might have been able to finish the fight sooner if I didn't have to dedicate a keypress every now and then just to keep my pet alive.
