Patch 3.3.5: Servers coming online

It looks like the long wait may be over, as US servers appear to be slowly coming back online from a lengthy extended maintenance. For now the list of servers up is small, and there's been no official confirmation from Blizzard as to whether or not the downtime is over -- however most servers that are up and live are experiencing queues in the thousands and are locked from further character creation at this time. We'll update this post when the servers are officially back up and running -- until then, why not check out the Tuesday Morning Post for reading material you may have missed?

If you keep getting Login Server Busy, just keep logging in again and again... but waiting in a thousand person queue to join a realm that isn't even yours isn't much to look forward to.

Been trying to logon for the past few minutes, but keep getting a "Login server is busy" error. hopefully it will clear up soon.

I'm logged in, but for some reason realID isn't working. I'm hitting add friend under social>friends, then typing in my buddy's email. It says player not found, even when he tried to add me. Is this broken?

Not sure if it's a temporary issue they're still resolving or it really is broken, but I can't get it to work either. I'm going to wait until the servers are all up and functioning before i pass judgement, but it's not looking very promising.

why would they extend it? It's only been out 2 days now and it's roughly a 2 week event, that CAN be completed in 2 or 3 days for the meta/pets. Enjoy your fail
