I would have been much happier had it dropped next week. Now all the inevitable hotfixes and reboots will land in the middle of the Midsummer event.Ah, well... Blizz's timing has never been all that good.

Well blizzard usually handled downtime pretty well, I think all the necessary downtime would be refunded in wow time, and hopefully the midsummer festival event would also be extended by that ammount.

Also Ruby Sanctum (the map and boss models at least) are already in 3.3.3. So that could have something to do with it.

Being at work as nothing to do with it, lol. Your are AT the wow.com website , replying to THE PATCH NOTES. If you had bothered to actually read the article before commenting on it you would have seen that it say's the patch is being applied . . . today.
