For Gnomeregan! Who's your daddy?

Hey! It's Peenk! Remember me? I'm toning down my dialect again so that I am more easily understood. I have been informed that leaders should try to ... ah whatever. BORING. Anyway, I'd like to know a bit about your families. Who are your parents? Are they alive? Do they support the cause? Do they support you? Where are they? Are these enough questions? Do you want more? How about beer? Yeah, I know you want that.
My immediate family were taking their yearly extended vacation in a not to be disclosed location when Gnomeregan was taken over. They remain in our vacation home, practicing the magic arts and producing supplies for retaking our home/business. As I have mentioned before, I do not have any magical talents and they are very disappointed in that. But they are happy that I have taken up the family professions of alchemy and herbalism.
Before you begin, I have an assignment for you. Actually, it's my cousin Kixi's assignment. She's so ... militant. Fires! She wants you all to take advantage of the Midsummer Fire Festival to gain power, skill, funds, and all of the other benefits of the holiday. She says it's an excellent time to take a break from your normal training, while still preparing for the offensive. So go forth and participate and then tell us all about your results at the next meeting.
Ok, bring up your mug (I heard what happened a couple weeks ago) and we have kegs for your refreshment and to loosen your tongues.
Please join us by telling us about your character's parents, a story from your leveling this past week (real or imagined), a lesson you've learned or something else of interest while staying in character. If you are new, why have you joined the army? All the World's a Stage is a great resource and this guest post by Anna is a must-read for making new characters.

Angidget Child, where have you been? You have not written since you've gotten involved in that militia group. Why haven't you written? You know how much your momma worries about you. And, you know I'm super worried too.
So the goings on here at home. We're not far from Coldridge Mountains, we found a nice cave that we've converted into a proper gnome mansion, suitable for all of us. Occasionally, when I am practicing sneaking around (I have followed the family trade) a trogg or two will find their way back and I have to deal with them. But, hey it's good practice. Speaking of, how do you like that militia group? Do they have room for a rogue? You know I'll work hard and we got to have one member that's a proper Willow clansman
So, where are you? How are you? and What have you been doing?
Your cousin,
Shadows Tinker
Dear Shadows,
I'm somewhere in Silverpine Forest... my warlock training has me fighting these crazy Worgen people in Shadowfang Keep. I was hoping to have help but, it's been only me and my minion Konrath. Konrath keeps me as safe as he can, but I have not been able to finish my assignment... I keep being sent to the Other World. Ah well, maybe it's time to rebel a bit from my warlock training, and move on to something more productive of my time.
Tell momma I love her. And the advice she gave me pays off each time I have to deal with the darkness of the void. Does pap still ignore all mention of me? I know I disappointed him by embracing the darkness, but I hope someday he will accept my decision and see all the good work I am trying to do.
I hope to see you join our ranks, it would be nice to have you among our group. I know you would be welcomed and greatly appreciated.
Until next time,
your 'locked cuz,
Angidget
