Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as emailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use Alt Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, val'kyr on mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. I've been running Ahune daily on my spriest in the hopes of getting the scythe ... so far the RNG Gods are against me, though.

A sample size of one isn't very instructive.
According to Wowhead, it's got about a 7 percent drop rate.

Well, I've been running Ahune daily on four 80s since the holiday started, and I've seen it drop once. On my pally. Who of course *can't use staff weapons*. Grr.

Curse-wow.com's-lack-of-an-edit-button; Wowhead.com says it has a 7% drop rate from the daily bag of frosty whatsits. I weep shadowy frozen tears.

IMO it was pretty stupid of Blizzard to put the scythe in the bag. Heck, not even all classes can use staffs. At least if it dropped from the cache still, you could have people roll on it.

I've been trying every day for the pet on two toons and I got this scythe on my hunter...hunter. Wish I could trade it for the pet.

Interesting. After running it on druid alt 2 times it dropped for me. After running it on my main 6 times I got it as well. I might just be a lucky sucker.

A few years ago, there was a Dilbert strip where, if I recall correctly, the Grim Reaper took antidepressants. He wasn't grim anymore, but he still reaped because he liked the work. He reaped Dilbert, but he was over his limit for the day so he was just doing catch-and-release.
