i hope they never introduce flying combat as it would probably be a cross between the toc mounted combat, that isnt very fun and very ones favorite instance mounts, from Oculus. at first i thought mounted combat would be cool when they announced it pre wrath as i was exited with vehicular combat but i really don't like vehicles especially in PVP
(strand of the ancients especially)

Agreed. It would have to be staged the same way any of the BC or WotLK flying dailies are which would mean preset flight course and you spam any one of 3 keys while targetting the other guy whose queued up for the same thing.
A straight 1-on-1 duel or random PvP would never last. Within a week the forums would be a firestorm of players ranting about how other people with 310% mounts shouldn't be able to attack/out fly/maneuver them. And this would be on top of the usual "zOMG is OP!!1! NErf plzz!!!!11" fights you just /know/ are coming over worgen and goblins. lol

Oh man i can't wait for this to come out because i really want to fly around west Virginia on my big bird mount. I had them install extra seat belts and make a special helmet for me. It's going to be fun I just hope that that guy doesn't get to close to the flying scorpion or it might sting him in the eye like the one time there was a bee in my room at night and it stung me on the left cheek and i couldn't sit right for days.

Is the southern barrens zone neutral or is it still a Horde leveling zone, does anyone know? Was it mentioned at blizzcon?
Because it looks like there is a lot of alliance there now. (I will miss the old barrens. :-( )

Yep! After seeing all the defoliation going on over at Warsong Lumber the Alliance is going to un-barren the Barrens by replanting. If the Horde tries to stop it, Fandral Staghelm will be unleashed upon them. At the very least the stalking, stomping and other scenery chewing he does is sure to have them on the run.
