My guild uses epgp and it is a whole lot better than our old dkp system. No bidding just priority. Their are still little quirks though but that's any loot system for ya. I think it would be great if blizzard implemented this kind of loot system. My only issue would be how easy it would be to change ep on te fly.

See, I don't want them to put in a dkp or epgp loot system into the game. I love Blizzard and all, but I really don't want them to do anything with loot. It's bad enough that I can't roll need on upgrades on my alts because Blizzard thinks they have to babysit us and that we can't make our own decisions. Any more "help" from Blizzard would really piss me off. Addons handle loot distribution fine. I don't see any reason to "fix what ain't broke".

'It's bad enough that I can't roll on upgrades' but blizzard shouldn't 'fix what ain't broke'? Sounds like a contradiction there bud.TBH tho it's not the plate-wearers not being able to roll on cloth that gets me - it's people rolling need on anything and everything, throwing 'main over off' out the window just 'cos they can. The number of times I've lost a rare tanking drop to a ret pally or DPS DK is just obscene.
