Servers are coming back up [Updated]

Blizzard has announced that the realms that are not down for the entire day are down for an additional two hours. They expect realms to be up at 4 p.m. EDT (1 p.m. PDT).
This means that you will have less time to level up a character for the Server Maintenance Party we're having tonight. But that's OK because all levels are welcome.
We'll update this post with any more server maintenance news.
Update: Servers are up or on their way -- except the ones that are down until at least midnight of course.

Ruby Sanctum time? 3.3.5 looks to be going live on EU servers, extended maintenance, a mini patch download... will we be killing Halion today, or just getting RID bug fixes?

Without any patch notes, no notice on whether the wowerror/memory leak problem has been fixed.

I'd be surprised if they chose to release the Ruby Sanctum raid when not everyone will be able to experience it. My guess is that they'll release it on a maintenance day that doesn't see a good chunk of servers down for 24 hours.

andhar, I disagree. The realms with 24 hour maintenance are losing a day of fire festival dailies and celebrations, and blizzard has not mentioned anything about them in terms of extending the holiday or anything. When the patch comes up, Ruby Sanctum will be open.

Blizz Customer Service said the Out of Storage error will be resolved with the patch today for those that started getting the problem with 3.3.5

Pyromelter, they actually extended the holiday before it began. I do the calendar on the sidebar and when I first put the holiday in, it was just a week according to the in-game calendar. Then they switched it to two weeks. So they planned ahead! :)

I'm pretty sure that the original one week duration was a bug because the fire festival lasted for two weeks last year as well.

Ruby Sanctum is live on Sentinels at least, not sure if its a bug or not since there was supposed to be a forum post. But I was just in there with a guildie and boss is up and all trash is walking around

I'm ok with this happening every once in a while, problems do come up that can't be expected. I get that. But when it turns into a recurring thing, week after week, that is when it starts to make me nerd rage.

Not really surprised. Somehow, though, the endless supply of QQ and "WTF BLIZZ!" comments doesn't surprise me either... Of course, this is all par for the course. Downtime = improvements. Yet these silly children with nothing better to do than ignore that fact and bitch and complain about how much it sucks that maintenance is extended.

But... but... but... I *just* got my Mage to level 70 and finished maxing her Alchemy! And I can't stay awake any longer; I have to work tonight! This means no epic gem transmute and no Old Man Barlo fishing daily for today! WHY BLIZZ WHYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!
Hehe, okay, QQ over. Just had to get that outta my system. Really, I'm glad they'd rather give us a suitable product later than expected than half-ass it in order to be on time. ^_^
