I read "What I got was Warcraft: Mage, a book written by Richard A. Knaak" and figured it would be bad.

Haha yeah I was the same. When I see the name Knaak; i see retcons, raptor armies and rhonin. Having none of those thigns to write about must have been hard for him to deal with.
