So in which time line does this Blue Flight attack of Dalaran happen?
I figure we have, what, 3 or 4 choices all thanks to Knaak. Might as well have one more, right?
If, as a writer, you cannot have your characters work within the constraints of an established system you need to rethink your work. Imagine if a writer of a novel had gone in and made Ensign SuperduperImcool some incredible god of combat that always fought instead of Kirk. Now imagine that after this book the series and movies all had SuperduperImcool around and Kirk was a wuss because he didn't have to be Kirk anymore.
I'm pretty sure the writer would have been lynched along with the people that let Kirk get emasculated to stroke an annoy author's ego.
Knaak needs to learn to write WITHIN the lore and stop changing it to suit him just because one of his pet characters to be a special flower. There is plenty you can do within the lore to have a cool character that is established and will make the lore richer without resorting to doing a Rhonin.
