There's no word yet on the lore behind this change, but between Zalazane on the troll side and the Dark Irons on the dwarf side, it seems likely there's good enough reason to unlock the class. Now if only we could get them to give us Worgen paladins, we'd really be cooking. Stay tuned to WoW.com, there's more juicy Cataclysm info to come.

Never will be Draenei locks, no way they take up demonic magic the very thing that's been trying to wipe them out for thousands of years. It would be like a jewish nazi...

There's nothing inherently evil about a rogue for the Draenei to abhor so I'm not buying that. In fact, I'd say there are honorable rogues and Draenei could emphasize that, if Blizzard wants to stick with them being completely good.
I like to think Draenei would want reconnaissance done in a stealthful manner and rogues could be one such way. Besides, with the inclusion of the Draenei rogue on the Lost Isles, we've seen rogue abilities in three of the race's states: uncorrupted Draenei, Broken (Akama for one) and Lost Ones.

You have a point, but thats the reason Blizz have given for as long as the Tauren rogue argument has been around
I personally would race change my rogue into a Tauren within a heartbeat given the chance.

If Draenei get druids or rogues (or both!) , im having a spaz attack either way.
Who knows, my wish for Troll warlocks came true...

A tauren warlock wouldn't be entirely ridiculous. A tauren warlock could be a refugee from the Grimtotems or working with them as one of their agents.

Maybe Dwarf Warlocks will have something to do with the Dark Irons coming back...maybe in some sort of temporary ally/not-want-to-kill-Alliance-on-sight kind of deal. We are going back to Blackrock, Ragnaros, and all that old school stuff.

Whoo! I've wanted to play a troll warlock since the game was first being announced. Really disappointed me that they couldn't be done, but this is awesome!

Ah, cool. I didn't think this would actually happen.
I downloaded the Cataclysm Alpha Client and played around on a Sandbox, and noticed that the Warlock class wasn't grayed out for Trolls, though when I tried to make a Troll Warlock, there was some error message. I figured it was just a bug(the non-grayed Warlock button thing, not the error message), and ignored it.
Too bad, I should have made a thread on the forums stating troll warlocks will become available, I would've been famous. I am pretty good at predicting these things, you know.

First they pop up in character selection as "mistakes" and confirmed as so and now they're being confirmed just the opposite. What a delightful surprise! I was excited when I saw GC's post and apparently WoW.com was right on top of it, haha.
Hm, I don't think I'd even need an explanation for both additions since both will have mage as an option so it only makes sense that some would follow the darker side of it all.
