The fact that none of you are realizing draenei druids fits perfectly kind of boggles my mind. What did Nobundo do for the draenei? Bring them close to nature. Which alliance race is the only one they have any real connection with? The night elves. If draenei druids aren't one of the -most- lore appropriate additions they've actually made (lol Tauradins), I don't know what is. (Okay, human/forsaken hunters, but I digress). To be honest, I'd prefer there be some draenei faction that thinks to fight fire with fire and taps back into the Legion, I would -kill- for draenei warlocks. I'm well aware it won't happen though, and the least they could do is give us druids.

The fact that you can't tell the difference between Shamans and Druids is kind of hilarious, and advocating this kind of lorelol just because you're butthurt over Draenei not getting a new class when they can field a whole raid by themselves is kind of sad and doing a disservice to your favorite race. I will point out that the Draenei did not exactly fall over themselves to embrace Nobundo's teachings, and still don't practice them in terribly high numbers. Druidism, which goes even further than shamanism does, makes no sense for them, I don't care how friendly they are with Night Elves now. You're talking a year's worth (two at most) of friendly relations vs. 10,000+ years of established history. I'm just going to copypasta what I've been doing to everyone else who's been whining about this. How on earth would Druids work for Draenei? It's an entirely different religion than the one they've followed for over 10,000 years. And no, one extremely mutated offshoot of the race that goes unclaimed doesn't count (the Lost Ones). People, I don't care how much you want certain race/class combos, there has to be a lore justification for it, and there is nothing plausible to suggest the Draenei would suddenly take up druidism. Shamanism is NOT the same thing as Druidism, they're related, but at the end of the day they're just not the same. Communing with the elemental spirits is a different ball of wax from being in tune with the natural world to the point where you can wield its power. Aside from all of that, shamanism itself is still not terribly widespread among the Draenei despite all the spacegoat player characters you see, and it's still somewhat of a controversial thing in the culture. There has to be more of a basis for that kind of shift in Draenei cultural values for something like Druids to make sense. Yeah, they could do it, but putting in a breadcrumb quest like with Night Elf Mages/Tauren Priests & Paladins wouldn't be enough.

With all the hooting and hollering (and unnecessary swearing mind you), you can see just talking about a new Draenei class upsets people. Which is sad, it's fine to retort a new class for them but the way people are spitting venom to anyone who suggests it? Tsk tsk.And honestly, Blizzard could do anything they'd want with Draenei lore, making any class possible. They could even make some kind of story where we find out they're evil all along and playing us for fools. I've covered the rogue option, but as for warlock and druid, I could see those happening, even if less likely in current lore standards.Warlocks have this as slight evidence: http://www.wowhead.com/npc=18815So Blizzard could have been thinking up a way for the noble Draenei to be strong enough to control the shadow without being corrupted by it. I'm not sure that makes the best sense though, but I found it interesting. After all, we have Blood Elves that forced the light to enable them to make paladins and soon we'll have Goblins twisting elemental wrists so they can be shaman. It's not entirely implausible for Draenei to take control of shadow with the light in times of great loss and war.And druids, that has no evidence whatsoever. Which doesn't break the case. There's no strong evidence for or against, just speculation. Blizzard could easily tie in some story of a Draenei going on a quest to find Druidic powers by chance or such.Overall, I don't mind if they don't get a new class option. It'd be nice, but I'm mostly pining for some Draenei lore. There was so very little in this expansion, and I haven't seen much in the ways for Cataclysm yet, it makes me wonder. They're such an interesting race, it'd be a shame to see them neglected further.
