Cataclysm Beta: New maps

Jolesole of raevyn.net (coincidentally a great source for Cataclysm info) has been datamining the latest beta patch, and he's found a whole bunch of new or changed maps for zones in the new expansion. Zones include Redridge Mountains, Westfall, Vashj'ir, and more. You can check them out in our gallery below.

Looks like you won't be getting into the zone through Loch Modan anymore. I got to admit, the map of the Badlands threw me off, it was the only zone that I couldn't recognize on first glance.

Gotta say I love the new map style, seems so much more sleek and outlines landmarks more visibly.

Why "poor Lakeshire"? Looks to me like it's just fine, and they might even have finally finished that bridge.

Kargath, on the other hand, doesn't appear to have been as lucky.

Nope, it goes from the NE corner of Swamp of Sorrows to the SE corner of Burning Steppes. Nice shortcut around that area for Horde.

Ooh! A large part of Westfall went boom. Sweet. Maybe now the zone will be more interesting and less "Grapes of Wrath". ^_^

The Teldrassil map appears to confirm my suspicion that Rut'theran will replace Auberdine as the Alliance's boat hub.

All this new info has me too excited to sleep tonight. I'm gonna be whipping out my phone every time it beeps for email for a week just to see if I get a beta invitation.
