Holy shit, we're FINALLY getting OpenGL cursor support for Windows. Blizz does actually listen :)

How does OpenGL cursor support improve things? Not flaming, just curious. :-)

Linux. Wine doesn't have great d3d emulation, but Linux runs OpenGL natively. The more support Blizz gives to OpenGL the more they're (unofficially) supporting the use of WoW under Linux.

And for some users running Wow in OpenGL mode in Windows allows for smoother and higher frame rates. The only disadvantage is that we have no cursor (which is a big one for clickers like me).If you haven't tried OpenGL, then you just give it a go by adding 'SET gxApi "OpenGL" ' to your config.wtf folderAnd obviously this benefits the Linux gamers as well.
