For your viewing pleasure this wonderful day-after-the-beta-dropped-morning, we present to you the live stream of the Cataclysm closed beta. Right now we're taking a romp through some of the available dungeons and zones, flying around and seeing the various sites to be seen.
The stream is up on our uStream page, so the quality isn't the best in the world -- but it works.
We'll keep this stream going as much as we can today, and will bump this post up if we're going to do something really cool. We're also in the chat channel over there if you want to drop by and say hello.
Have Blizzard confirmed if non active accounts can take part in the beta? Normally they give a date of when your account needed to be active but they don't appear to have done that this time?

Ask a beta tester = the queue. And the queue will return today or tomorrow. Not sure we have the time right now to devote to writing it up properly.

Meh. Got clarification. Closed Beta means limited availability, not NDA-bound.

Closed beta means only invited people can play it as opposed to an open beta where anybody can join.

but I agree on Cata runnig with SCUMM at least that's what the stream looks like.
