I do have a question now, with the mana adept mastery added to the arcane tree will it become usefull to gem for intellect instead of spellpower?

i mean gemming +spellpower gives a flat static buff throughout your rotation no matter how much mana you have (untill you run out of course) but gemming for intellect will keep you at nearly full or very full mana bar longer allowing you to enoy the mana adept buff longer (or more of the mana adept buff for longer).

so yeah, i was wondering if it wouldnt be better to gem like healers when we get the cataclysm trees....

of course all that is based on the assumption we wont be able to gem for haste anymore (?) and even if we can we'll have to wait how the numbers crack out against the mana adept mastery buff.

Well, considering that spellpower is disappearing from our gear altogether and int is what will give it to us?
