Servers coming back up

We'll keep you up to date with any changes to the realm status.
In the meantime, let's talk about something nice and calm and not controversial. Which character are you making first? Goblin or worgen? I will be making a goblin shadowpriestess first thing. I haven't decided on a name yet, though. Any suggestions?
Update 4:05 p.m.: Servers are being brought up in batches, according to the login screen and all should be up in 15 minutes.

I think I'll make either a Goblin Shaman on my Horde server, or a Worgen Warrior (or Druid) on my Alliance server.
In the end, I'll make both. It just depends on who I'll make first. And dangit, I want in the Beta! I've played Blizzard's games since WarCraft: Orcs vs. Humans. I have been a devoted fan since five years of age! I think I should be eligible for the beta. :(
That, and it would help save me slot spots when leveling up people through the new quest experiences!

Pretty close to me, I was just planning on make a worgen hunter, but after seeing a few screenshots and the goblin starting area, I plan on making a blue-haired female goblin shaman. They look so cute with the blue hair and green skin...
My only problem is I plan on making them on the same server, because I already have all the heirloom pieces. I might delete the stagnant druid on that server to make more room for another character if I need to.

Worgen druid for me...
Though for some reason I'm really drawn to warlocks. I like the way the worgen druid forms came out though so...Though those troll forms are pretty beast too, aren't they! Haha, decisions decisions...

Which one first? Hmm...I haven't really thought that detailed...probably a Worgen just to get that out of the way. Since I'm horde main, I'll get the Worgen quests experienced first and then roll a goblin and decide whether to make it a regular character or just used as a means to experience new content at low levels.
Also, I wanted to race change my current 80 rogue to a goblin. Any idea on when goblin race changes will be available after Cataclysm goes live? And no, I really don't care about realm/world firsts. I just want to take advantage of those delicious racials and not have to grind another 80+ levels.

I don't think we've been given an estimated time yet (unless I've missed something), but it will probably be a few months wait until we can race-change. Either that, or race-changes to the new races will be opened up as soon as someone on that server grabs the World First 85 of those races. Personally, I hope it's the latter. That would mean we only have to wait for the grinders to push their way to the top!

Only having to wait for a server first for a race to become available for race change would be awesome. A week or two (depending on how slow the grind is in Cata) would be much preferred over a month or two.

We usually do. I know my monthly payment hits a little later periodically. It has creeped quite a bit from the original over the years.

After reaching 85 on my Pally, I'll be rolling a Worgen Druid. I've really been wanting a druid so much that I've started a few on a couple realms, but can't bring myself to level them up too high due to the fact that I know I'll be rolling a new one come Cata.
I can't help you out with a name though... I have a terrible difficult time naming my own toons. Plus, It seems as though a lot of the good names are taken, and I'm not too fond of adding ASCII to the name or throwing an "lol" on the end of it.

I guess I just assumed that a Goblin shadow priest would have to be named "Shadowsprocket"
Maybe that's just me.
