You might remember Bullworth from his series Raid Eats or his epic parody of Mythbusters called Wowbusters. Well, the tauren's back with a new parody work called Cash Hog. This is a satire of the Discovery Channel's Cash Cab, of course, which continues to prove that Bullworth has the best taste in quality programming.
The video's pretty short. I admit that I'm not familiar with Cash Cab, but I enjoyed watching Cash Hog even without that previous knowledge. Bullworth has such a great, buoyant sense of humor that he's just fun to watch. After I familiarized myself with Cash Cab, the video even got a little better.
I especially enjoy these videos which are deeply rooted in a simple, pure love of Azeroth. The folks at Blizzard, the community, and the machinimators all devote huge investments to enriching the community. I like when we get peeks into that warm, fuzzy vibe, just to remind us all why we play the game in the first place.
Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! Have suggestions for machinima we ought to feature? Toss us an e-mail at machinima AT wow DOT com.
Nice presentation, but I thought the music was off, could've been more appropriated than the usual background music. Somehow in this context, it gave me an ominous feeling than just being in the background. That might just be expectations from other machinma XD
Sorry but games is correct, they changed it so that you can walk through at any level, however to use the blasted lands portals in the major cities, you have to be level 58
Granted I haven't seen the show that many times, but I haven't actually seen the guy on cash cab boot someone out and make them walk yet. Does it actually happen that often?
yes it does most notable was when he had a cab full of elderly folks and it was pouring rain and a bad section town. he made note of the fact that in this case they stopped and got another cab for the folks instead of the usual "sorry charlie BOOT"

Undra Jul 6th 2010 12:55PM
I am strongly considering doing this. gotta come up with some questions.

This would've been uber during the long rides going after the midsummer flames.
Moeru Jul 6th 2010 12:08PM
I actually want to spend 16k gold now and give lowbies rides if they can answer my questions.

But you don't need to be level 58 to walk through the Dark Portal.
Noah Jul 6th 2010 12:31PM
yeah, you do. I took a level 28 down there once to see outland. it clearly says you must be level 58.
saragules Jul 6th 2010 1:26PM
You only need to be 50 to walk through the Dark Portal to the outlands.
To use the portal from the main cities to the Blasted lands you need to be 58.

Only happens like 1 out of 4 episodes. Much more common on Cash Cab After Dark when half the people he picks up have had a few.
Adamn Jul 6th 2010 2:20PM

I love cash cab...
totemdeath Jul 6th 2010 2:19PM
Excellent job! For your next parody, I think you should do either a 'Whale Wars' or 'Deadliest Catch' parody
Ominous Jul 6th 2010 2:35PM
"Stay in school or you're walking!"
How very true.

Haha, very funny! I love his WoW interpretations of real shows. Awesome work!
