Choose My Adventure: Robinemia's insane live stream

Choose the adventures of the WoW.com staff as we level our characters in <It came from the Blog> on Zangarmarsh (US-PVE-H).
Killing humans in Hillsbrad Foothills is the only thing on the agenda for tonight's Choose My Adventure session. After all, if Robinemia is going to become Robinemia the Insane, she's going to have to kill a lot of those guys in order for the Ravenholdt people to want to hang with her.
This time, I'll be streaming and babbling above and at WoW.com's Justin.tv page. The session will last about an hour and there may be some stories if I get bored slaughtering humans. There may also be a failed bedtime (The Spawn) and some raiding noise (The Spousal Unit). It's a family affair.
If you want to join in on the fun of Choose My Adventure, please join us on Zangarmarsh (US-PVE-H) in <It came from the Blog>. Ask Robiness, Robinemia or any member online for an invite. Guild ranks of Lurker or above have the ability to invite. You are all welcome as long as you play by our simple rules, which can be summed up with "Don't be a Funsucker!" Yeah, unfortunately you won't be able to kill Syndicate to exalted. They stop giving rep eventually, and the only way to get any further is to turn in Heavy Junkboxes, which can be gathered by rogue pickpocketing only.
So, you'll have to get Chase to lend you a hand in this tedium. I'm sure he'll love that.

had an excellent time with you in Hillsbrad tonight. I was Laerea the blood elf DK, and i tried to give you the mana potions, (sorry, i didnt know what else to do with them!) Thanks for letting me join the guild and i hope to see that picture we took on wow.com soon!

Man, I wish someone would help me work on Insane. I don't know what I'm going to do without a rogue on my main's server and I've already dropped a good 10k on Darkmoon!

Robin, I enjoyed watching your stream today, and was impressed by the quality of the streaming. Could you please describe your streaming set up? I've been a member of Justin.tv for a few years now, and I did a little bit of research into setting up high quality game streaming, and it's not exactly trivial. I would love to be able to stream some of my WoW sessions to my family, friends, guildies, etc.

It's not trivial at all. It's very, very fiddly. I spent hours fiddling and testing and hated every minute of it. I whined. I complained. I tried to get out of using it. But yeah, it's all worth it. The quality is amazing.
I used Adobe Flash Media Encoder 2.5 and VHScrCap (both free downloads) and the Justin.tv instructions and fumbled along until I got it right. Good Luck!

Trouble is, its a bad time for them when its good for us, and its a bit unfair to ask her to play at a different time so you can watch the stream, isn't it?

Since my primary job is stay at home mom, I stream when it's best for me -- when The Spawn is in bed or out of the house and the apartment is quietish.

Won't work for everything, but as a community effort to gain rep for Robinemia, you should be able to have Robinemia idly chatting or even AFK'ing in a party /follow-ing someone running around killing Syndicate/bruisers/pirates, while guild members take 5-10 min shifts as the current grinder.
Darkmoon decks, librams, shards, diamonds, and junkboxes can all be donated.
The only thing Robin will absolutely have to get herself will be the bind-on-pickup items to go with the librams (blood of heroes, skin of shadows, abomination stitchings).

Whoop-De-F***ing-Do. Unless you get bloodsail to exalted in the process, the Insane title isn't even difficult - its more about who has the most cash.

Well I guess Bloodsail exalted isn't "difficult" either, it just requires a few months of non-stop play to repeatedly kill the same goblin every 7 minutes.
