Azeroth - Land in chaos is a sweeping, beautiful look at the landscape and design of World of Warcraft. I almost always enjoy these Discovery-esque tours of Azeroth and Outland, taking the time to really soak in the amazing, powerful artwork created by Blizzard. In the never-ending struggle for better gear and bigger numbers, it's a little too easy to simply miss the sheer beauty and creativity that makes up the game world.
This is the first video presented in Gnomax3D. (It's not really 3D, please don't try.) While the author names himself after the style, I'll admit I had a little bit of trouble sorting out what are the distinctive characteristics of Gnomax3D. The movie was certainly beautiful to watch, but so are many others. If further tours like this are created by Gnomax, though, I'm sure we'll find out eventually. I'm definitely looking forward to a similar view of Cataclysm.

Interesting video, was nice to see the landscape of WoW without flying by it and ignoring the beautiful sights.
This video has brought up a question that I don't think Blizzard has mentioned. Will they be bringing back weather in Cataclysm? I don't mean the once in a blue moon snow in Storm Peaks but actual common weather, which makes this static world a lil less static and more exciting.
I believe there were weather effects noted in some of the Cata Daily Screenshots, but I don't know if anyone in beta can confirm that (assuming they would be in beta).
Apart from some "facinating" typos (yeah, yeah, grammar nazi :P), Gnomax really made a nice overview of some of Azeroth's astonishing landscape, albeit it was mostly Northrend. Got me hooked for the main course, so I hope it's almost cooked :)
You're not a "grammar nazi," lots of people can be genuinely distracted by typos. If you're going to take as much time making a movie as this person obviously did, why not get your brainy buddy to take a look at your writing before you publish? It's better than taking people out of the moment.
Also:
It should be "Thrall, Leader of the Horde" not "Thrall Leader of the Horde", in that super-blurry, why-is-it-so-hard-to-read quote at the beginning.
I did similiar video. Well actually it kinda wasnt.. reminded more of wowcrendors "Are wow graphics bad?" one rather than this effect filled one.
My point being of course that "I wish I could do same". It looks really nice. But man, waaaay too much efects for my taste. I couldnt even see the nelf building scene due to the lens flare. Otherwise, pretty nice job. Should be nice to see the finished project
Also for this and many other moviemakers out there I suggest addon called "cameraplus". It does smooth route rotating left to right or up and down. No need to make movie where camera is shaky when doing that with mouse.

Landon Chaos sounds like the worst SafeAuto insurance rep ever.

Beautiful video! The camera seemed a bit clipped at times, but the images presented were stunning! I reminds me of the Planet Earth series by the BBC

I thought there were a lot of good shots and it looked pretty, but all the filters and flares aren't really my thing.

Agreed, Azeroth is beautiful.
Though Nagrand is probably my favorite zone.

Very nice. I loved the music too, but I'm a sucker for French Horns.

That was great. I liked the quote from Thrall at the beginning definitely more of those please!

I found the one mob name kind of ruined my immersion a little bit, but not in a really terrible way.

J. J. Abrams would be proud!

I wish there were snowstorms in Northrend like in this movie. It makes feel the enviroment more harsh like it should be.

Holy soft light and lens flare Batman!
