Sunday Morning Funnies: Huff huff bing!
This week's list is long, so I'll get straight to the point! Note: If you're the artist of one of the comics on this list, please pass through the break for a special, clearly super secret club message.
If you would like, you can help determine how your comic will be represented. Just contact us (put my name, or Sunday Morning Funnies, in the subject line) for the specifics, such as image size. You could suggest, or custom-make, an image for the gallery, or supply me with information you would like to see in the guide.
If you don't find yourself in the guide once it is published, never fear. Everyone has the opportunity to be included; don't worry about being "good enough." You just need to publish regularly, and of course, participating here each week, while not required, is always appreciated by both myself and the readers.
If you don't have time to give me suggestions, it won't mean that you won't be featured. I just thought I would offer everyone the opportunity to create something or direct the information that I include (note that I said 'direct' - ultimately, the editorial choices will be mine).
I should also probably clarify one point: This is unrelated to the weekly list. Everyone will still be featured every week, no matter how often you take a hiatus, or draw about non-WoW-related subject matter.

I'm down for whatever! Sounds like a great idea! Now to check out the comic roll.
Blurgarian Jul 11th 2010 12:37PM
Just throwing it out there, the CAD comic is named "A troll by any other name"

Is anyone else getting a virus/malware warning when visiting NPC's website? It was fine last weekend, but now I'm getting an alert from Avira that the "HTML/Infected.WebPage.Gen" is on every page there.

I haven't seen it, but I wouldn't be surprised.
I am so sick of hosts NOT checking their damn advertising. I don't blame Mary Varn, it's not her fault. But her hosts aren't checking who they sell ads to. The companies are like "Duh, I'm going to sell this ad space to whoever the hell wants it."
Ad-buyer: "I'm going to slip this exploit/malware/infected/macro'd .PDF file into those Flash ads!"
Visitors: "Holy shit, my system's infected!"
Even the best websites get hit by this due to LAZY ADVERTISING SPACE SELLERS AT THE HOST. Take some damn reponsibility for this, and check who the hell you are selling ad space to. Even Google has been nailed over and over again on sponsored links. Seriously, if someone comes to you and wants to buy a sponsored link to "wow-armory.com" and they AREN'T Blizzard, shouldn't that send a red flag up? If someone wants to buy a link to "Coke-now.com" and they aren't Coca-Cola, shouldn't that tell you something/

Well crap. Thanks for the heads up! Someone else was getting that but I thought I had fixed it, and I wasn't able to duplicate it. Sorry! I'm going to disable ads for right now until I can hear back from the ad networks about it. Otherwise, the site is fine. http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=npccomic.com
And Amanda, as always, thanks so much for including NPC here. :) The gallery sounds exciting!

Hi, Mary!
Thanks for responding - it's still hitting, so I don't think it's your ads. Instead, I think it might be the YouTube videos you posted. They weren't there last weekend, and I had no problems. You've disabled the ads but I'm still getting the alert, so I think these might be the culprit.
Love your comic, by the way! Keep on keepin' on!

Neato! I'm in! Just lemme know what you need!
DaDoc Jul 11th 2010 7:13PM
I love the database idea!

I don't get the "BING" thing in WoW, eh.

A momentary temporal displacement. She's in a jungle. Then she's apparently in the middle of Tanaris for a second. The dragon dude is a bronze dragon and the artifact has something to with time, it warps it around it I suppose as it seems to be creating disturbances.
At least I think so. C/D Cadistra?

I miss Battlemasters :(

On page 373 of LFG you can see the religious neighbors in the background on Richards panel.

The Noob comic also decided to comment on the Real ID fiasco as well. http://www.clichequest.com/index.php?pos=384 My favourite Real ID comic so far.
Syme Jul 12th 2010 9:47AM
WoWeh?'s story keeps getting more interesting. And the art is excellent as always; I love the last panel!
