The Daily Quest: Edward isn't here

Here at WoW.com, we're on a Daily Quest (which we try to do every day, honest) to bring you interesting, informative and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere. Is there a story out there we ought to link or a blog we should be following? Just leave us a comment and you may see it here tomorrow! Take a look at the links below, and be sure to check out our WoW Resources Guide for more WoW-related sites.
Let's talk about twilight -- no, not the vampire kind, the kind that has wings and breathes fire. Ruby Sanctum has proven to be a relatively entertaining raid, just difficult enough that people are finding it a challenge. Today we've got some posts from around the blogosphere regarding everybody's favorite fuschia dragon, Halion.
- Tanking Tips has a quick guide to tanking Halion 10-man and 25-man.
- World of Matticus talks about Halion and the failure rate.
- Borsked thinks that this is the good Twilight.
- On an unrelated note, I Like Bubbles has a scientific look at the RNG.

Note the spelling. Single most misspelled word in the english language IMO.
Except possibly misspell.

A Twilight joke doesn't need to be made *every* time that word, werewolves, or vampires are mentioned.
It's enough of a joke to stand on its own, really.

Twilight has killed vampires and werewolves as a genre. :(

no, morons that associate everything with twilight have ruined vampires and werewolves. plenty of genres have bad examples within them. usually they're just forgotten/ignored and people move on.

Oh, *I* agree with you. I just hate how it's impossible to say something like "I love Buffy" without someone making a joke about Buffy killing Edward. Or I can't have a conversation about True Blood, without it becoming a conversation about Twilight. It's not really Twilight's fault people cant see past it at the moment, but it's a bother. :) The genre is so much bigger and so much older than Twilight, which is imo, like Baby's First Vampire Series. I couldn't be bothered getting into what is good or what is bad about it - it is what it is, but there is so much more out there.

Shameless self bump!
Let's pitch the Twilight cast against a legion of Celestial Steeds. Sparkly vs. Sparkly.
