The Guild season 4 begins
The Guild fans, rejoice!
The award-winning web series starring Felicia Day is back for a fourth season of quirky comedic goodness. Episode 1, entitled Epic Guilt, is available right now for your viewing pleasure via Bing and the Microsoft Network. If you need to do some catching up on the storyline or just wish to refresh your memory of the happenings in the season 3 finale, head on over to The Guild series channel and search for what what you need -- it's all there.
We've previously interviewed Felicia Day, most recently at BlizzCon 2009. And of course, she was also kind enough to stop by our BlizzCon reader meetup and say hello to everyone.
Enjoy the show!

Don't care about the guild, it has little if anything to do with WoW. Do you they pay you guys to advertise for them?
Portals Jul 13th 2010 2:09PM
Get back under the rock from whence you came!
Bill Jul 13th 2010 2:08PM
And by the way, they do relate to WoW. It's the drama of a bunch of real-life nerds and addicts who are all part of the same in-game guild. Though they don't use the game world of warcraft because of copy-write laws they really push the feeling that it pretty much is a game exactly like WoW.
If that's not enough of a relation for you they showed up to Blizzcon '09 to do signings and talk to guests.

... wait, what? The show is about a WoW guild. (well techincally not actual WoW, but an unspecified fantasy MMO that uses all of the same terms and conventions of WoW.)
Jason Jul 13th 2010 2:46PM
I think it's fine for WoW Insider to have links to the The Guild up on the site, because lots of people like the show and can relate to it. However I'm pretty much done with show. I feel it's run it's course and isn't all that funny anymore.
Boz Jul 13th 2010 2:49PM
Looking at Pyrite's posting history, he or she has made five comments in total at WoW.com, three of which were to complain about The Guild; it's sad, really.
Elmouth Jul 13th 2010 3:32PM
They see me trollin'
On topic, yay ;D
Dave Jul 13th 2010 3:44PM
Nice catch Boz.
You made want to check my stats. I figured I had maybe 50 comments max, being generous. Well, it looks like I'm a lot more talkative than I though. 176 posts! (177 now :P)
I'm proud to say that the majority of my comments are either up or downrated. No boring filler posts for me! (Besides this one.)
RavenJet Jul 14th 2010 4:46AM
@Dave
I have to say - you are making an unwarranted assumption in your post. We have no evidence that he did either number 3 or number 6.
Karuna Jul 14th 2010 10:38AM
Damn, she looks so much more attractive in still pictures. I know I'm a geek but damn, geek!
Karuna Jul 14th 2010 11:53AM
Although that's not meant nastily, just a good actress i guess.
Bill Jul 13th 2010 2:05PM
YES YES YES YES YAY
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Dreyja Jul 13th 2010 5:38PM
Indeed! You took the babbling and proto-words right out of my mouth. ;)
Qing Guang Jul 13th 2010 2:11PM
Haha, way to fend off the extended-maintenance blues!
But...
O.o she killed Zaboo!
Eberron Jul 13th 2010 2:33PM
Bitch be cold as ice, yo.
kasapina Jul 13th 2010 2:11PM
I haven't watched the 3rd season yet, was waiting until it gets subbed (otherwise I miss some of the dialogue). I wonder if the creators are running out of creativeness by now, that is what happens to many series this far in, but I guess I'll have to watch it to find out.
Dave Jul 13th 2010 2:18PM
Why the downrate! No shit talking here!
Kas said, I need to subtitles to watch. (How do you know he's not hard of hearing?)
Kas said, lots of shows run out of creativity after a while, I wonder if this has happened to The Guild? (A reasonable thing to ponder, considering the season is just starting and no one knows)
Kas said, I'll have to give it a chance anyway! (Which expresses that despite his concerns, his/her mind is still open and hopeful)
Dave Jul 13th 2010 2:32PM
There we go! Much more reasonable!
Felici Jul 13th 2010 2:32PM
Kas,
We have subtitles on our YouTube Channel uploads for the hard of hearing. The episodes there are UNCENSORED though, FYI :) The DVDs are also subtitled and unrated.
OXOX
