Don't forget that one of the goals mentioned before also is that Resto and elemental will be sharing gear itemization. Unlike Enhancement which will likely get rolled with hunters. So outside of tier, you will be carrying less gear as ele/resto than if you were enh/resto.

Of course, all that is moot because ele is teh best spec anyways. Simple, yet versatile. Win.
... and now you have me considering how funny it will be to see a dwarf in a fowl mood being charged by thunderstorm and tossing lightning and fire around. I may have to roll one.
