Am i the only one that missed that you can't hybridize the talent trees until level 70? cause that would seriously blow... and by the same token is it based on level or number of talent points in your primary tree, I could see having only 15 points to dip into the other trees being very detrimental to those of us that still try and make frost fire or elemental builds still behave

Frostfire builds of either polarity look like they'll have a grand return come cataclysm. The thing is, previously FF builds specced hybridly into both trees to pick up the "meat" talents like +damage and +% crit etc. that affected either frost or fire spells, but in this case it affected the same thing. Now in Cataclysm, these talens are gone. Those are now in the core mastery bonuses and as far as I understand how damage type bonuses affect hybrid damage architypes, than either polarity will benefit from the +20% of the base masteries in either tree. The only thing that will determine which is better will be how tree-specific effects strengthen the spec as such, and since all 3 base specs are to be roughly equel in PvE damage output, I bet my money that the difference should be minimal and the choise will be up to the player in what "playstyle of the Frostfire spec" they prefer.(I hope that makes sense, it's 03:55, I desperatly need sleep)

10 points, not 15.41 talent points at 85, 31 required to unlock access to the secondary trees (whichever two trees you are not specializing in.)You will not have access to more than one 11-point talent.
