That's a good question. But I am going to say no. I would err on the side of caution, and not disable it. Disabling it just turns off your ability to post in the forum, and add people via Real ID. Your real name very much is still in the system, and the "disable" isn't really a disable at all. It's designed to keep kids from talking to people, not to remove Real ID altogether.
