non-beta question: My wife, a mage, is often plagued by "fail groups". I, a feral cat druid, am rarely in a failed group. Almost never even wiping. I am wondering whether the existence of a melee dps, (cat, warrior or dk dps, hunter or lock pet, etc) is creating enough extra threat to effectively keep mobs close to the tank, and thereby helping the group to success. A ranged dps, like my wife, can do twice the dps I can so I don't think amount of dps is necessarily a useful indicator of whether a group will fail. Thoughts?
