Last year they intentionally chose a PvE realm to avoid interference, but jerks who were apparently opposed to the idea of raising money to help sick children still harassed them by depopulating each area they were in of quest items. Since they had no way to retaliate they were forced to instance-grind (in pre-DF days!) the rest of the way to 80.

Now they can retaliate.
