Technically DTS is a open roll variant, FLR and SLS are a DKP variants, and NKS is a DKP/openroll hybrid.
There really is only three loot systems, open roll, DKP and loot council. Everything else is a variation. That being said, I generally prefer GDKP for pugs, loot council for casual and progression guilds, and really any variation of DKP for "hardcore but not quite progression" guilds. Mostly because that middle class of guilds tends to have the most drama from a non-structured loot system.
Personally I think DTS is the single worst loot system ever derived, even worse than SK. But it's really the most common pug loot system, mostly cause of it's simplicity.
