regardless of what they change, add, take out, or condense, i don't feel 41 is going to be enough. as it stands now, the only viable balance spec currently is to take every single available talent in the balance tree and two points in furor. (i suppose you could move one point from gale winds to furor, but i'm sure the numbers will be crunched before too long and it will either be one way or another.) i'm willing to give almost anything a try that blizz throws at us as far as game changes, but so far i'm not liking this change.

The point isn't to pick up every talent in the balance tree. The point is to have to pick and choose what talents you want to get versus skip. Some of them don't give very substantial bonuses, so there are still some that most druids will want to skip...

skip to take what? blessing of the grove to increase the direct damage of your moonfire by 6%? there's nothing in the second tier of resto that a moonkin needs and nothing in the first feral tier. so exactly what would you skip and take up?

Well, that's part of what's broken/unfinished.

Also, Blessing of the grove and Furor will do worlds more for you than things like Lunar Justice.

true, so let's say you take a point from lunar justice (because any moonkin worth his feathers carries a few mana pots just in case) and put it in furor. i don't know about you but i'm still not having 'fun' with my talents. i still look like every other moonkin on the block. blizzard is going to have to condense a lot of talents even on the beta tree, which is already condensed, in order to add a little breathing room. point is, i just don't see a need for it. 76 talent points was fine. sure, the trees would need some work to avoid complete imbalance, but that's been true with both other expansions. why they are now deciding to cut things back is what i don't understand, and to me it just feels lazy.
