Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as emailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use Alt Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, Val'kyr on mounts or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran. Older screenshots can be found here.

Since every time I see someone misspell something I twitch and cringe, I'm going to be a pedant; it's "down there".
And Blizzard seems really to have cranked the epic-o-meter up to 11 on this one. I may not buy the idea that Thrall is an awesome shaman - all his achievements don't require shamanism at all - but yeah, that's badass.

How long has this Maelstrom been turning the waters? I would have imagined the rocks to have been... smoother after all this time.

I think it would go to 12 if those rocks were shaped into the titans? Sort of like the monuments/statues outside Stormwind only bigger?
That or Thrall uses Thunderstorm to knock undesirables off the cliff.

Did you miss the part where Thrall completely destroyed an entire town by himself? Or how about the part where he hurt Archimonde with a lightning bolt? Or the time he blew a necropolis right out of Orgrimmar to its demise outside?
He's a damn powerful shaman, make no mistake.

I'm really hoping they use the Maelstrom as the backdrop for the Cataclysm log-in screen, because that visual is way too amazing to be something we see a couple times when we first take our toons to Deepholm.

This isn't anything really significant, they just updated the Horde water totem quest.
Fortunately, undoing the damage done by Deathwing's emergence and calming the unbridled fury of the elements is way easier than the old vanilla run.
