Sounds like Ret is going to have an insane amount of burst available. Build up to 3 HP, then Zealotry, Crusader Strike to get back to 3 HP, then pop Inquisition and Avenging Wrath at the same time, then you're basically going to be alternating Crusader Strike and Templar's Verdict or Divine Storm for the remaining ~25 secs of Zealotry. Even better, Inquisition & Avenging Wrath on their own will, when talented let you hurl Hammer of Wrath at its extremely high crit rate with a fairly big bonus. What I'm predicting is that we'll see Ret in PVP, building up 3 HP, then bubbling, popping zealotry, and essentially being the same insanely high burst wrecking ball that they were in the early days of Wrath. And then being hotfixed into suck again. :(

Divine Shield is getting nerfs in the categories of length and cooldown. Plus, you're going to be at 50% damage while bubbled anyway. While there is a lot of burst potential there with Zealotry and Inquisition, you can only pop Zealotry every half hour. This isn't like our old burst that people used to complain about. Back then, we'd hit 3 buttons and insta-nuke someone at the start of combat. This new system requires you actually be in combat for a while at which point you're just going to kick into power mode. Also, who knows what we're going to have in the coming patches as the system feels good, but unpolished in some ways. In my opinion, we still need a baseline damage skill that uses holy power for prot and holy to glom onto. I imagine it will have something to do with shields to keep it out of ret hands.

Wait, so our 31-point talent has a 30 minute cooldown? That's fairly terrible. I guess that's one talent point that can be put somewhere better then.

yeah 30 min is pretty disapointing i would be ok with 5min maybe. but tbh id prefer it NOT to be on any large cd maybe 15 seconds and nerf the effectiveness
