WoW Moviewatch: Druid Boy

Of course, now they're following up with Druid Boy. This is a parody of Rihanna's hit song Rude Boy. I admit that I'm not familiar with the song, so I may not be burned out on it. For a fresh look at the music, though, I enjoyed what SacredPlea did with the lyrics. I still had a bit of trouble hearing the singer's voice, but overall, I enjoyed it.

I expected this parody to rock since I like the original song, but her voice sounds like she is in a canyon. You cant makeout the lyrics.

Agreed, when you have voices overlapping AND auto-tune, you need captioning at least.

Michael Gray, please stop posting her videos! Her singing is terrible, her videos are boring and her lyrics are just too repetitive and dull. Besides, very large group of people hate that kind of "parodies"(some player models talking, doing random stuff and dancing to some guy/chick voice, which even auto-tuned sounds bad) and consider normal machinima videos (for example the "Nub Tales" series) far more entertaining.

This is Outcasted podcast already did a parody of this song and had much better lyrics than this one, although our singing was just as terribad. :)

Hey,
Just wanted to say we are having some issues that when we upload the tracks with the videos the sound quality is deterring and altering the sound creating lots of echo etc it is something we're working on...
However if you download the songfile which is available below the video the quality is much better. Also the lyrics are written in the info section so hopefully this will make things a little easier until we fix the issue.

I don't understand the comments about her "teribad voice". Her singing is fine, just sounds too echoy (if that's a word). Captions probably would've helped though.

Same here, I think with this style of music, lyric clarity is just not a priority, it's more about the over all sound and effects... that's how I've always looked(listened?) at it, anyway. *shrug* The singer's voice is 'played' like another instrument, almost.

I dont know is it me going soft but I found it cute. Needs bit better sound record system tho.
And good heavens if theres people who actually enjoys singing, wow and doing videos?
I would understand constructive critic but people who just whine because "they can" is just laughable. Come back when you can sing or have things to suggest to improve it.
I found nothing wrong except bit bad echo.
And repetitive lyrics? Well thats modern music for you. Its parody from them so its not going to be totally original from the starters. I liked the idea of lyrics tho.
And I doubt Mr. Gray is posting these videos "for masses to get views".. you know, you could.. suggest videos too.

I really hate to have to say this, but... If you think this girl can sing, go watch their new video, "When The Raid Is Over." I literally could not listen to it for more than a minute, and I try to find something good in every artistic effort. :(
