Garrosh is having troubles on the home front, as shown in these spoiler-filled sound clips from the Cataclysm beta. They also have a bit of expository dialogue from Sylvanas from quests in Gilneas and Silverpine.

It does appear that Garrosh is -finally- learning. Listening to Saurfang and taking his lessons to heart can only be a good thing.

Ironforge gets some decent stuff. Magni turned to stone and the city is ruled by a council and his daughter is pregnant with the heir to the IF and Dark Iron throne. The alliance also get a new, strong leader in greymane while the goblin leadership isn't really shown to be all that significant or competent.

Malfurion Stormrage.
He's the biggest deal the Alliance has ever had, and now he's back.
Now THAT is huge.
But I agree, not much shown interactions between the ally faction leaders. Magni turned to stone, but I don't see any related dialog.

Alliance gets developments. They've got the whole political upheavel in Ironforge, for one, and plenty of stuff that reflects really poorly on Varian Wrynn.
There's the uprising of disenfranchised peasents and homeless refugees in Stormwind being stirred up into a fervor, and then The Shattering product description hints that there will be a schism between Varian and Anduin as a result of Varian's aggressive actions toward the Horde.

Shocks me how quickly Garrosh flips a "bitch" and goes from being a massive A-hole whom I hoped did kill Cairne and could later be killed by players and be replaced by Saurfang as Warchief, into this honorable orc, I dont buy it.

If by "quickly" you mean "three years", which is how long Cataclysm is set after Northrend, then yeah, he changed "quickly".
Listening to dialogue for one quest doesn't give you the whole story. There's going to be an event leading into Cataclysm that'll include some major lore developments, as well as an entire trilogy of books by Christie Golden which will deal with the events of the Cataclysm.

Haha Garrosh sounds worn out with responsibility while Thrall is getting stone drunk elsewhere. Sound political mind though, surprisingly.

Thrall's actually not getting by without some troubles of his own.
He's sort of stuck there at the Maelstrom with the Earthen Ring, channeling his powers into a rift 24/7 to keep it from tearing apart Azeroth.

Yet at the same time Garrosh is still invading Gilneas slaughtering many in the process! Don't know if he understands the consequences of war...
And not evil? Didn't you just hear the sound clips about Sylvannes her actions against the Gilnean people? They are very much evil for aligning with a genocidal monster, led by a war mongering idiot, even if he understands the concept of "honor"!

So...I hate both of those voices.
Fun dialogue, though. Garrosh is learning to not be such a moron! Sylvanas has gone completely round the twist! Someone finally realized that they weren't fooling anyone by constantly calling people "witch"!
