@Calaana... I know blizzard has said that. I know they've also said that CC will be more important and we won't just be AOE'ing everything down. I just don't believe it.

I have a feeling what they are going to do is set it up so that you can spam the most efficient heal infinitely (at higher gear levels of course), but that flash of light or other more inefficient heals will run you OOM. I highly doubt that there will be moments in relevant content that healers will just be sitting there not casting and regenning mana (just imo).
