The Daily Quest: Cataclysmic

Here at WoW.com, we're on a Daily Quest (which we try to do every day, honest) to bring you interesting, informative and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.
Either you're in the beta or you're not -- but regardless of whether or not you've gotten the golden ticket (so to speak), there's still plenty to read about regarding the upcoming Cataclysm expansion:
- I Like Bubbles is moving full steam ahead to Cataclysm.
- World of Matticus discusses holy power and more for the post-Cataclysm paladin.
- Daughter of Ravenholdt Manor talks Cataclysm lore -- specifically, the Defias Brotherhood. (Warning: Cataclysm spoilers!)
- Gray Matter talks about the druid changes in the upcoming expansion.

The dragon on the left of the graphic - now THAT looks like it could've caused the Cataclysm.

On topic though, oh my gosh does the new Deadmines sound cool! I've known since the original Cata trailer there was going to be a Heroic Deadmines but the idea of there actually being a new one too? Completely flew over my head until now.
I wonder if we're going to end up killing Vanessa? She actually sounds interesting. A bit young for us to just waltz in, decapitate for loot and quests and call it a day though. Auduin still isn't attackable last I heard, when his model is about what, 14 with the update? 17's not too far off, and her being a girl might further fuel the "Can't kill the kids" thing that's in place right now. Especially if she has her own unique model and not just a generic human one.
I'm hoping that we capture her and she gets thrown into the Stockades. Which leads to... a Stockades remake! With actual named bosses and stuff. People left over from the original Deadmines. Like what if Sneed was thrown in there and now he's fighting you with some kind of super goblin toothbrush shank. Then Vanessa at the end after we realize she's too dangerous to be left alive or something.
Either way, very excited for the lore this Neo Defias entails. Can't wait.
