I think that has to be somewhat skewed by gold spammers in goldshire, but if these numbers are traced back to the onset of WoW, when "unintuitive was in", in the wake of EverQuest, I could totally see the marketing ("Come try WoW!") not living up to the hooking ("I love WoW!").

A LOT of Cataclysm is moving to correct this, and that's good!
