Seriously though, a nice, sober presentation. In regards to the Alchemy example, while "tricking" may be an inappropriately strong word, the game designer is artificially creating a need to sign in daily, which I think does border on scary evil tactics. Of course, the daily quests, and the need to do them for the gold needed to buy (you name it) probably rate higher on the devious-ometer.
