see, this is the reason I developed an entirely new (to me) strategy I've come to call "The Meta". Over the coarse of wrath I've steadily leveled up a small self contained industry for my toons. Currently I need to shop outside my own characters for very little. I have my own jewel crafter, enchanter, blacksmith, leather worker, tailor, engineer and alchemist.
The for Cataclysm I also have a inscriber planed. Its the one chink in my armor, but at the moment it doesn't matter, mostly because of the wall effect described above. I think the most I've paid for a glyph I think is 20g.
It's a wonderful plan, it largely allows me to ignore the AH trading schemes and has placed me in a very good position to dominate the early market in cataclysm, when the potential for making money is at its highest.

Perhaps I've misunderstood, but if you're farming all your own mats then it's great for self-sufficiency but not for dominating the AH. What with opportunity cost of farming and all.

Meant to phrase that as a question, as this economic stuff makes my head spin!

Killik,
He is not farming. He has not listed any farming profession. He has build his own trade empire
