On some servers there are competitors that are posting at ridiculously low prices week after week. Some of the gems I used to sell 3+months ago for 20-50g are now regularly are 5-6g. I vendored the last of my rare cut stock (except scarlet rubies) and still move a few epics and raw materials. Demand is nowhere near what it used to be (anyone notice a lack of players the for a few days after SC2 came out?). I've heard whispers of cross-faction griefers entering the mix to rid their stock but I haven't investigated this as I'm pretty much out of the rare cut market. I'll be leveling more alts in the meantime so I can work the market better when Cataclysm comes out.
