WoW Moviewatch: I've Been Everywhere

The machinima is pretty appropriate to the song, which serves as a travellers love for the many places in Azeroth. If you listen closely, you can chart just about everywhere there is to go in Azeroth. Until Deathwing blows it up, of course.
This is actually one of my favorite pieces of WoW filk in a while. I'm excited to see what these folks might do next, and I definitely hope they stick around for a while.

wasnt too sure til he poured the speed on, instant convert ^ ^ and the achieve at the end was a nice touch.

That was awesome. I only wish they hadn't used a DK. Or they'd found a way to slightly slow the tempo down, so that the pictures of the places were more than a blip.

If it had been slowed down it wou;dn't have matched the song...
And if you check out the original you'll see that it's sung even faster than this tribute...

A quick Google shows that Johnny Cash was only one of many to cover the song. It was originally released in 1959 in Australia. Hank Snow had the first North American version, and made it into a hit.

Now THAT was a good video. Made me realize just how huge and diverse Azeroth is, and was extremely nostalgic. Capping it off with the Explorer achievement was perfect.

At first, during the slow intro part, I was not impressed, but once the song got started it was great.
And the ending? Epic!
